EN ISO/IEC 17025

Meaning of the accreditation in accordance with the international standard iso/iec 17025

In 2011 Texa obtained the Accreditation as a Testing Laboratory for the tests pointed out in the document “PA2071A.pdf” (available here below) by Accredia, the national accreditation unique authority, recognized by the Government on the 22nd of December 2009, and arisen from the merger of SINAL and SINCERT as an association without lucrative purpose.

Each European Country has its own Accreditation Authority. The National Authority is in charge of accreditations in accordance with the international standards of the ISO 17000 series and with guides and with European standards EN 45000 harmonized series as well.

Accreditation is a service carried out for public interest, so that both business users and consumers, but also the Public Administration when they address to external suppliers, can trust the quality and safety of goods and services circulating in a more and more globalized market, down to the last ring of the manufacturing and distribution chain.

Therefore accreditation is a guarantee of impartiality, correctness and proficiency, guaranteeing the lack of conflicts of interest with the organization to be certified, as well as ensuring cultural, technical and professional proficiency of their own staff.

Accreditation guarantees that test/inspection reports and certifications (of systems, products or employees) having ACCREDIA brand are issued in accordance with the strictest international requirements concerning conformity assessment, and upon a permanent and strict monitoring of the behavior of the subjects in charge (Laboratories and Organizations).

At the moment the laboratory has requested a suspension of the accreditation for some standards.
